Hawa Mahal or “The palace of winds” is one of the prominent tourist places of Jaipur city. This unique five-storey pink and red sandstone palace is the finest example of Rajput architecture which is said to resemble the honeycomb structure of a bee’s nest. The most interesting fact about the palace is that there is always a light breeze passes through 953 small windows or jharokhas and that’s the reason behind its name.
