ABHANERI

The small village in Dausa district, Abhaneri was built by King Raja Chand of Gurjar Kingdom. Abhaneri is famous for its monster stepwell Chand Baori, which is also the most visited stepwell of India. The marvellous carvings on steps makes this baori an excellent example of architecture. Another historical site to visit in Abhaneri is Harshat Mata Temple which was built in 10th century and reflects an incredible architectural aspects of ancient India.

BHANGARH FORT

Located at the border of Sariska sanctuary, the historical Bhangarh fort is categorised in haunted locations of India. Built in 17 century, the Bhangarh fort is a small city with temples, palaces and multiple gates within. Lahori gate, Ajmeri gate, Phulbari gate and the Delhi gate forms the four entry points to the fort. Officially, you are not allowed to enter fort premises during night due to the various horror stories associated to it.
